Alexis is trying to subtly tell us she had a boyfriend in 2001: “okay this is “Did You Wonder” by The Black Heart Procession. ( fucking amazing band…a-mazing). Just saw them play a great show at the Satellite ( Spaceland) a few weeks ago. Sometimes they have an upright bassist playing who wears a full horse costume, unfortunately this was not one of those times. I’ve been listening to them since 2001 when my then boyfriend moved in with his extensive vinyl collection ( of course) and Black Heart Procession tattoos. He really loved them so.. i listened, and ended up loving them. I hope you do too.” I’ll check them out, but I am not going to get a BHP tattoo.
