Shia LaBeouf Is Trolling Everyone
Shia LaBeouf comes off like a douche bag. I don’t know him personally, so I can’t tell you if he is or isn’t a douche bag. He might be a douche bag, but he is also might be a genius. He could also definitely be a douche bag genius.
I think he is trolling everyone in a personal play for attention bordering on Andy Kaufman level trolling genius.
1. How many short films get the kind of publicity that his did? Plenty of famous actors put out shitty short films and shitty feature films every year, and no one really cares, yet we have all at least heard of Labeouf’s.
2. How many people knew who Clowes was before this happened? He had a career. He had a name, but no where near the exposure that he has gotten from this.
3. If the Shia guy is such an idiot, and he just simply can’t write his own story etc., he could have just paid some ghost writer to write a short for him. He has the money.
4. Plagiarizing his apology is a page straight out of the Trolling 101 Textbook, not to mention Improv 101.
5. Posting pictures claiming you are ripping off another project, again Trolling 101.
The internet is the media now, and controversy is the only thing people really care about online besides tits and kittens… and he has served up a controversy like a large kitty titty omelet with a side of hash browns. If he wanted attention for himself and Clowes, he got it. I even got sucked into his little game. I wrote this shit.
